5 reasons to take part in VTEX DAY 2022

VTEX DAY, which will take place on April 12 and 13 at São Paulo Expo, marks the return of major in-person commerce and retail events

Defining the next steps of commerce and shaping the future of retail are not just random wishes. It takes a lot of boldness and a team hungry for transformation to get there.

For almost 10 years, VTEX DAY has been achieving these goals, to the point of becoming the biggest technology, innovation and retail event in Latin America, and one of the biggest in the world.

Under the motto “One Day Changes Everything”, VTEX DAY 2022 symbolizes the return of in-person business events. It also reinforces the optimism of executives, retail professionals and investors in exploring new businesses and expanding brands to other regions of the globe.

But the question is: why do you need to take part in this year’s VTEX DAY? I started thinking about this from the day I took on the challenge to lead the content curation of the event. After picking more than 90 unmissable talks, distributed over 8 different stages, I can knowingly say that there are infinite reasons to attend. However, I will select the 5 that I consider to be the main ones!

1. The richest content of the market

Rich content is the main differentiator in the training of professionals that want to stand out in the market. VTEX DAY’s stages have already hosted names like Fernando Henrique Cardoso (2015), Joaquim Barbosa (2016), Richard Branson (2017), Bruce Dickinson (2018), Luiza Trajano (2019), and Barack Obama (2019), and this year will be no different. There will be more than 80 content panels with renowned global names and retail experts. Real case studies, the true stories of retail, told by professionals and executives who have learned from mistakes, boldly overcome challenges, and built highly profitable projects.

Witness exclusive talks about great cases from different retail verticals, presented by brands such as L’Oréal Kerastase, Whirlpool, Carrefour, Decathlon, DPSP, C&A, Vivara, Polishop, Grupo CRM, Grupo Soma, Dengo, and dozens of other great companies.

There’s more! Exclusive content from renowned personalities, such as:

  • David Schonthal, bestselling author, entrepreneur, investor, and professor at the Kellogg School of Management. Schonthal will explore the unexpected reasons why innovation ideas get rejected and how to transform those frictions into important catalysts for change.
  • Tom McFadyen, of McFadyen Digital, the agency responsible for the implementation and strategy of some of the world’s largest marketplace and multichannel commerce operations, assisting more than 10% of the Fortune 500 companies.
  • And many other names that will be released in the coming days. Stay tuned!

2. The best retail experiences

To have an experience means to live a remarkable moment, which transforms your mind and adds practical knowledge to your baggage.

At VTEX DAY 2022, there will be more than 43 thousand square meters of exhibition, with booths, product and technology demonstrations, and more than 190 exhibitors that will be ready to share the most innovative solutions in commerce today.

All of this will be presented by companies that pave the way towards the future: AWS, TOTVS, Adyen, PayPal, ACCT, Americanas Marketplace, Provu, Pagar.me, Carat, Unlimint, Dito CRM, and all supporters and sponsors of VTEX DAY 2022.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the novelties presented in the “Retail Area”, a space for practical demonstrations of digital solutions that move retail and commerce management routines.

Also, enjoying every moment while having lots of fun is just as important as working hard. That’s why the experience will be complete with singer Thiaguinho, the big star of the closing concert!

3. It’s time to close good deals

Because the market is optimistic and accelerating due to the approaching end of the pandemic, VTEX DAY will once again be the perfect time to get to know and have access to new companies, brands and opportunities.

This is the time to expand your horizons, build new relationships, and close good deals. Therefore, there’s nothing better than one of the greatest commerce and technology events in the world, with a highly qualified audience.

4. Limitless networking

Speaking of highly qualified audiences, ticket sales for VTEX DAY opened on February 10, and hundreds of commerce, retail and technology professionals, entrepreneurs, executives and managers have already secured their tickets!

Do you want to make your network more relevant? Being at VTEX DAY means being able to connect with a significant number of people with common and complementary interests. A conversation, a lunch, or a brief meeting can transform your life, your career and your business.

5. One day has the power to change everything

Our life is a long journey, but there is always one day that profoundly changes the way we live and see the world.

When the Brazilian inventor Santos Dumont flew the 14-bis airplane for the first time in 1906. Or February 24, 1932, when a new electoral code went into effect, giving women the right to vote. May 8, 1945, marked the end of the Second Great War. Or even July 20, 1969, when man first stepped on the moon.

One day, just one, is enough to impact our lives, expand our minds, and put us in a better position of knowledge, ability and vision. VTEX DAY has this purpose, as well reflected in the story of Rubia Vitt, Marketing and Customer Success Manager at Data System Software.

“In 2019, I was selected by VTEX in an action held on Indeva’s Instagram account, and that’s how my first experience in São Paulo began. I arrived early, at 6 a.m., to get a good seat to see none other than Barack Obama up close. After I got my credential, I experienced an adrenaline rush and my heart started racing as I saw all that magnitude of experiences and content. VTEX DAY changed my life, expanded my network, and motivated me to move from the state of Paraná to São Paulo, where I proudly dedicated myself to developing my career.”

That’s what VTEX DAY is all about. One Day Changes Everything. Buy your ticket right away!
