VTEX and Stripe team up to make payments easier and faster globally

VTEX has teamed up with Stripe to further expand the global offering of payment methods to retailers in digital commerce. Stripe is one of the largest and most technologically-advanced payment platforms today, available virtually worldwide. Companies of all types and sizes use Stripe to accept payments and manage online businesses. Forrester recognized it as a leader in The Forrester Wave ™: Merchant Payments Providers, Q3 2020. The company provides the tools developers need to create more secure and innovative shopping experiences.

Stripe offers an outstanding service for the most diverse digital retail profiles with fair transfer terms, reasonable fees and intuitive operation.

A global partnership

As a global commerce solution, we are committed to helping our clients enable the most popular payment methods wherever they operate.

VTEX’s global clients can now use a plug-in available on their commerce platform to enable online payments. The integration is available in the countries where both companies operate, including the United States, Brazil, Mexico, United Kingdom, Italy, Romania and Singapore. In other words, an ecosystem that supports the option of payments with more than 135 different currencies. You can read more about all the countries covered here.

The VTEX and Stripe partnership opens up new opportunities for clients and enables transactions using Google Play, Apple Pay and local payment methods such as OXXO in Mexico and boleto bancário in Brazil.

As a result of the exponential growth of ecommerce in recent years, the desire to increase conversion rates through a wide variety of payment options created to meet consumers’ different needs has become one of the keys to the success and growth of digital retail. New payment methods allow retailers to update their payment strategies according to their customers’ needs and improve checkout experiences.
