Promoted by VTEX, the competition aims to encourage participants to improve their business, digital, and global commerce knowledge. In this edition, TETRIX had a record number of participants, with more than 154,000 people from 84 countries. The competition was divided into three phases, with two online qualifiers and a hybrid finale, with finalists participating both in-person and remotely.

The other finalists were from Argentina, Colombia, Italy, and Mexico. The finalists were challenged to solve a business case and present it to a panel of judges, which included VTEX executives and market professionals.

The winning group was composed of students from Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, who will travel to New York in January 2022 to attend the NRF, the world's largest retail event. In addition, all finalists were invited to participate in the VTEX internship program, which will begin in January 2022.
