How Macromex launched two B2B platforms and migrated over 6,000 clients on them.

For almost 30 years, Macromex has been the leader in the food industry in Romania, specifically in the frozen products segment. With a revenue of 147 million euros in 2022, over 1,200 products in 17 categories, and 2 highly technologized warehouses, Macromex chose VTEX to digitize its B2B operations.

To them, digitalizing the company means more than simply launching two ecommerce websites. It means rethinking how they conduct business, engage with customers, and how the evolution of the world impacts their goals. And this is why they selected VTEX as the perfect partner for their collaborative commerce journey.

“IT specialists often focus solely on technical solutions, but our project team has proven to understand well the business challenges we face. We appreciate VTEX’s ‘teamwork’ approach, including the existence of the Success Manager role, dedicated to addressing our needs.”

Albert Davidoglu, CEO Macromex

The greatest benefit of using VTEX is the integration with the company’s ERP system, ensuring long-term significant advantages by automating and reducing errors in order processing. The VTEX platform is a multi-store, multi-tenant, multi-storefront, and multi-price solution. All these capabilities are valuable assets for our projects, as we expect 60% of our business to be online by the end of 2024 if we’re only referring to traditional commerce and the hospitality industry”, emphasizes Albert Davidoglu.
